Home Academy Agreement
When your child joins our academy we ask that you, your child and ourselves sign a shared agreement of how we will work together and what our responsibilities to each other are.
The agreement details some common expectations of each of us, for example:
Parent/Carers will:
- See that my child attends school regularly, on time and properly dressed in school uniform
- Provide an explanation if my child is absent from school
- Help my child understand that no physical or verbal aggression towards others will be tolerated
- Make the school aware of any concerns or problems that might affect my child's work or behaviour
- Attend my child’s Annual Review of Needs meeting and other meetings, where applicable.
The Academy will:
- Ensure every child is valued and will strive to promote each child's health, safety and happiness.
- Encourage each child to do their best at all times and to become confident and enthusiastic learners.
The Child will:
- Treat others as I would like to be treated.
- Talk to their parents/carers or teachers if they are worried about anything at all.
